If you used BCP in the past, how long were you on it, and did you get prenant while using the pills!?!?!? yes or no
If you are on the BCP right now, how long have you been using it!? Have you gotten pregnant!?!?
The reason why Im askin this is b/c Im TERRIFIED of gettin preg!. while on bcp, I've heard alot of women getting preg!. while on the pills, I know the that the pills are 99% effective, which I think is pretty high, but why do so many women get pregnant!?!? so Im askin b/c I want to hear answers from women that have personal experience!.!. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH !!!

What is so great about this question is that you're asking it!. The best way for a woman to ensure that she doesn't get pregnant before she is ready to be a mother is by "layering up" on her birth control!.
"Layering up" means staying on The Pill, taking it on time, and using a back-up method along with it, which could be condoms, the Today Sponge or Encare (the last two containing Nonoxynol 9 and applied vaginally)!.
The Pill is 98% effective when taken properly, however, I'm sure that I don't have to tell you just how many women have gotten pregnant while on the Pill!.
I ALWAYS use condoms in addition to being on The Pill!. That's just what smart women do -- we take care of ourselves and make sure that we are in full control of our bodies and our destinies!.

A lot of the reason women get pregnant on the pill is because they don't take it "perfectly"!. Perfect pill taking would be:
-the same time every single day
-Using a back up method (like condoms) if you take an antibiotic or throw up!.
But even with "perfect use" there is still a 1 % chance of pregnancy!. If you're afraid of this, you can try using condoms in addition to your birth control pill!. But also, you have to accept the fact that sex ALWAYS carries a chance for pregnancy (even if it's very very small!.) You just do the best you can to prevent it, and roll with the punches!
