Question: How soon after giving birth can you get an IUD!?

I am very fertile & want to be on birth control as soon as I get my 1st period if my doctor will allow it!.
I have read up on Mirena & it sounds like what I want!.

How soon after giving birth have you ladies gotten the IUD be it Mirena or Paraguard!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm pretty sure that immediately after giving birth, while you are still dilated, you can have one inserted!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
