Question: I am taking Metformin for PCOS, I dont feel too well, tired, nausious, upset stomach!. Is it normal!?
I also dont have an apetite most of the time, lots of mood swing, feel hot all of a sudden and then I will be freezing the next minute!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nausea and upset stomach are normal (normal meaning common) side effects with the metformin (generic for Glucophage) but the way to help reduce some of that is to make sure that you have big meals when you take the medication!.
As for the feeling tired and not well that is not normal for the medication!. I would recommend getting in touch with your doctor to let them know what's going on so that they can evaluate the situation further!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
