i dont know why but i really want my period i told ma friend and she said im a freak! is this normal!? (im only 11 nearlly 12)Www@Answer-Health@Com

hah!. oh hun i went through the same thing when i was your age!
all my friends had there period before me!. i felt like everyone was more mature than me and i just wanted to have my period! all my friends told me i was weird cus i wanted it!. i didnt start until i was 14! some girls dont start until they are 17! believe it or not!
but honestly when i started i was so sad! i started at kings island! it was so horrible lol!. but i can understand why all my friends said i was crazy for wanting it! cus it kind of sucks sometimes!
but just enjoy not being on it now and you will start when your body is ready for it to happen!.

dont worry sweetie, you are not a freak! it is completly normal that you want to find out what having a period is like!. i was just like you, and got my first period last month, it is not very nice, so just try and forget about it, it will come sooner or later, and when it comes, you wont like it!.
just think, one day you'll be answering 12 year old girls questions like yours telling them they dont want it!

That's the normal age for a girl to get it!.
By the way, tip - always carry a pad in your bag (in a small compatment or something)
I regret many times that i suddanly got my perod and didn't have a pad

ye i really wanted my period when i was that age aswell and i din't get it till i was 14, but i'm glad, it's good when you get your period because it's the first stage of womanhood, but once you get it remember you will have it for decades to come andd it can be very painful and quite annoying!. So at the moment just enjoy not having a period it's so much easier!!! But good luck when that day comes!!!
