I have an ingrown hair down there and it hurts!.!.it hurts when i walk and it is all red all around with a big bump of red and a black spot!.!.!.when will this hurting go away and what can i do in the meantime!? it is making me miserableWww@Answer-Health@Com

my hair is super curly down there and really coarse and I end up yanking out the hair with fine tip tweezers and putting a warm washcloth over the spot !. Sometimes they even get infected and I end up popping them !. Gross but it feels better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
To avoid infection you should go to the ER or see your doctor!. I am not real sure on the heat!. I should think an ice pack would be better!. The doctor is the best bet though!. I have had something as minor as a sliver under my finger nail and went to the ER!. If you are totally sick of it seek medical attention!. I hope it gets better!. I don't think waxing and shaving down there is a good idea either!. You need a bathing suit that does not show so much, if they ven sell them anymore!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
yes try putting a hot flannel on it- not too hot that it will burn but warm enough to really get the circulation going- that should bring it out!. Try not to pick at it, although i bet it's tempting- it could get infected!. If it won't go get in touch with your doctor who may do something about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Get to the doctor!. The redness and swelling indicates infection!. It will not get better on its own, and I'm not sure about a heating pad!. That could make it even worse!. Take a couple Advil or Tylenol, and see your doctor as soon as possible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I've been told to put neosporin on it and cover it with a band-aid for a few days!. The neosporin draws the hair out like it draws out bacteria in a cut!. Pluck it when it is out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
