I commend you for being such an adult and being so strong and mature!!! Good for you!
I agree with one of the other comments, if you feel comfortable, explain your situation to either the school nurse or counselor !.!.!. they are there to help!. And I know most 'kids/teenagers' can't stand them, but they do care !.!.!. they chose that as their profession for a reason! They will without a doubt point you in the right direction, no questions asked! And you are at the right age to begin going!
Don't be scared once you go to your 'female doctor' !.!.!. just as the counselor, they're there to help and ease your mind!. When you go into the room and the doctor comes in, explain this is your first time and your very nervous !.!. heck, I was in tears my first appointment, I was embarrassed and scared and nervous !.!.!. and it was a male doctor!!! He talked to me for a good 20 minutes about what he was going to do and why, completely easing my mind!. He talked to me through the whole thing and it went much smoother then I expected! I'm 28 now and I still get a little embarrassed at those appointments, but we're girls !.!.!. we're just wired that way!!!!
Once again, very very very responsible of you! And whether your sexually active or not, you should still see that type of doctor to make sure you're healthy!!!

It's an excellent idea, and sounds like you're being very mature about it all!.

If it's just a general check-up (including breast exam and pap smear), they can generally be done at a GP!. I would suggest if you have a GP you trust, go to them - or ask them for a referral elsewhere!. Otherwise, call some GPs in your area - ask for a woman, if you prefer, and tell them what you're after!.

The GP can carry out the initial examinations you need!. They will also ask you some questions and, based on your answers and their opinion of the initial assessment, may decide to send you elsewhere!. If that is the case, they will refer you to the right place!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

aahh precious, this was exactly what happened to me!. growing up without a mum is hard but you can do it if you stay strong!. try talking to the school nurse or a teacher at school you really respect or one of your friends mums!. the best advice i can give you is to eat healthy get exercise and do not rush in to having sex!. i will pray for you!. i admire you for seeking some womanly help!. if you have really tough questions i am happy to answer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, it's not that bad!. If you haven't had sex you will feel a little bit of pressure down there but if you have I would think it wouldn't be that bad!. Uhm, don't be scared!. Just make sure that the doctor is gentle!. Ask around from some of your friends!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ask around or ask your normal doctor if they know of a good gyno!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
