For girls eyes ONLY!?!

Question: For girls eyes ONLY!!?
Ok I REALLY need to shave my legs but my mother says i can't shave until I am 12 years old!. I just turned 11 a couple weeks ago, I keep getting teased @ school about it and it is making me really uncomfortable!. I told her what some of the people at school said and she told me To bad I can shave when i am 12!.
I guess what I am asking is what should i do!? Should i do it behind her back or what should i tell her to make her change her mind!.
PLEASE HELP I CAN"T TAKE ANYMORE TEASING!!!

I would never advise anyone to go behind their parents backs, but i had a similar dilemma when i was your age!. What matters is how YOU feel your about your legs!. What other people think doesn't matter!. If you think you don't need to shave then don't!. If you really have to do it, then do it for the right reasons!. You might also want to talk to your teachers at school about the bullying to get the girls to stop being nasty!. Getting hair on your body is a normal part of growing up- clearly your much more physically and mentally mature than they are, feel proud :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Everyone matures differently especially during puberty!. She mayhave not had to shave her legs until she was 12 but you are a different person with only half her dna!. I dont see why she has put an age limit on you in the first place!. If you had no hair on them when you turn 12 will she let you shave them!?!?!?!? Anyways its not right to be teased and any parent should care about their child's welfare this doesn't only mean making sure they are fed, have a roof over their head and don't get hurt but it also means looking out for how they get hurt emotionally!. I would sit down and talk with her about it and think what your going to say and your reasons for asking before you do!. If not than go and just do it!.
Parents are not always right they are human too!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know why she doesn't want you to shave your legs!. 1!. you could cut yourself!. 2!. you are pretty young to be having excessively hairy legs, and I suspect you don't!.

However, I also remember how mean kids are, because I got teased for the same thing!. I went ahead and started shaving my legs behind my mom's back and I cut myself so badly I still have a scar!.

Not to mention the fact that if you start shaving early, once you shave the first time, the hair will grow back darker and appear to be thicker!. this is because the hair will no longer grow out to a point, because you have cut that fine end off of the hair and the stub grows out!. so, if you shave them once and then your mom finds out and doesn't let you do it again, your legs will look hairier than before!. I would just wait!. Don't worry about other kids!. hair is natural!. tell them you're a flower child and you believe in natural bodies, and that they wouldn't understand because they're caught up in their materialistic world!. perhaps that will shut them up!. good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

i started shaving at 10 or 11 not because i was getting teased but because my legs were horribly hairy! my mom let me start out with a shaving lotion(such as veet or nair) and then when i was 12 i could start using a razor!. just ask your mom kinda like this, "Hey mom, some kids at school were teasing me cause my legs are so hairy! i know you don't want me to shave until im 12 but i was wondering if i could use some shaving lotion instead to get rid of the hair!?" hope this helps! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah, the same thing happened to me!. Go up to your mom, show her your legs, tell her you're being teased for it, and ask her if she'll buy you a razor and some shaving cream!. I understand (and appreciate) that you're trying to respect your mom and do what she wants, but this is just stupid!. If I was in your situation (again-- b/c I've been there) I'd just go ahead and shave 'em!. I mean, a lot of parents think when their daughters start shaving their legs, they'll become "lose" (meaning they'll start seeing boys and kissing and sleeping around!.!.!.!.!.) but that's just STUPID!. What's she going to do!?

*And to add to what someone else said!.!.!. For the first two years that I shaved my legs, I only had to do it once a week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

shaving is no put off thing if your a girl and you have hairy legs go ahead and shave them its not really doing it behind her back (sneaky) just doing what you have to do!.If you are afraid to shave try nair or veet i use them ;) if you need any advice or just someone to talk to im always here sweetieWww@Answer-Health@Com

umm i would say just go ahead and do it, even though she told you that she doesnt want you shaving until your 12 i really dont think she will really be to mad if you just went ahead and did it anyway and even if she did she will eventually get over it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think you should go ahead and shave them, if you feel you should!. Just be careful!. Your mum may get a little disappointed with you, but its not the end of the world is it, shaving your legs! Best of luck!. Hope it all gets sorted out soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tell your mom whats going on at school and how it makes
you feel what the others are saying!.Tell your mom how you feel from the hart!.

Nobody deserves to be teased
Sorry i looked but could not help itWww@Answer-Health@Com

Wear pants!?

Or talk to your mom about Veet or Nair!. (Nair burns a bit, but it's not bad!.)

I personally use the Nair because I'm clumsy and cut myself when I shave!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Be careful
but shave
it reduces stink
and stuff!.
take your time
I use soap instead
of shaving cream
it leaves my legs very soft!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

shave!. hide ur legs from ur mom!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
