I have had an irritated vagina for about 3 weeks, I don't notice it through out the day but in the morning and at night it is itchy and when i itch it hurts, I have also noticed a week ago that I have gotten a few small not deep at all cuts and it hurts sometimes when i wipe, i don't think this is a yeast infection just because if it was i would be itching A LOT more, I hardly ever notice it but it is on my mind all the time!. I am 13 and I am not sexually active!. What should i do !?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh, yes, that is annoying, I've had it lots of times!. Try Lotrimin(the cream used to cure athlete's foot) and put it down there every night!. The itching will stop!. Just don't stick it UP your vagina!. Stop wearing jeans and tight pants!. If it continues for more than a month, go to a doctor!.

I've had my share of yeast infections and rarely itch!. I usually hurt and every once in a while I get a white discharge!. I don't know what the cut's would be unless you are scratching in your sleep and don't know it!. My gynecologist said that yeast infections aren't normally sexually transferred!. The fact that you are 13 and are having any type of gynecological problem would tell me to tell your mom so that you can have an exam unless your mom thinks for sure it is yeast!. There is a Monistat 1 day (or store brand) my doctor advises against it as it does not work!. Use the 3 day!. The store brand is just as good as Monistat!. Also, staying in a wet bathing suit, wearing tight jeans, clothes, hose or tights can cause a yeast infection!. Try to stay cool and dry at all times!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It could be a yeast infection, you don't have to itch all day and night!. They make a test you can take to see if you have a yeast infection and you can buy it at a drugstore without a prescription, you may want to try it to make sure!. The cuts could be from itching, you should tell your Mom about this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
