Brown discharge may be your actual period!. The first on ecan be pretty light!. Mine last 5 days on average, but I can have small amounts of discharge on day 6!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Who knows!? Your body is the one making all the decisions, but I have an idea that I use,

When I get that discharge it is too little to use tampons or pads, so I use those small, thin pantyliners instead!. Lots of women use them and they are really thin and short so you won't notice them!.
If you still have irregular periods it may be the cause, but if you are getting this discharge when you are not due a period, it could be a sign of infection!. Keep an eye on it and see your doc if there is any bad odour or it gets really thick!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can try wearing a low absorbency tampon instead of using a pad!. Just don't leave it in for more than like 8-6 hours at a time (because it increases your risk for getting toxic shock syndrome)!. If you go to take out the tampon and it is still dry and would probably cause discomfort to remove, moisten it first by like sitting in a bath or using a wet washcloth and it should come out OK!. Another suggestion is to lube it up before putting it in with a water-based lube (not Vaseline!!)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just buy tampons!. Way better! if you are a virgin I don't recommend it because it hurts a lot when you put it in and it gets stuck too!. lol!. Yes weird but it happens sometimes when you are a virgin and its your first time trying tampons!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You just have to wait!. It will come soon!. That actually probably IS your period!. My first one was brown too!. Idk why, the blood just comes out brown the first time!. Icky, I know!. Hope I helped!
