Question: Weird colored discharge and im on my period!.!.please help!?
I am sort of on my period!. Im getting a bit of blood the last couple days and its like brownish/yellowish/reddish discharge and I have no idea what it is!. I am on birth control but DID NOT have sex!. I am on the last pills!. The first 3/4 are orange and the other 1/4 is green at the end and im on those!.
Whats wrong with me!? I dont know if im on my period or not because im not getting a lot of blood!.

Answers:
Do not douche! It is not good for you!. It can actually cause infections (by disrupting the natural pH balance and disrupting the balance of bacteria and yeast)!. If you have an infection now, it can actually force it up higher and cause more problems!.

Green discharge is not normal!. It is usually a sign of infection!. If you are having green discharge, you need to be seen by a doctor!.

Brown discharge is just old blood!. It turns brown when it comes into contact with the air!. That is not uncommon!. It is probably just a light period!.

EDIT: I am sorry, I thought you were saying your discharge was orange and green!. I now see that your pills are!. As long as you are not having any other symptoms, you should be fine!. If you notice any unusual odor or anything like that, go to the doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you just started the birth control it changes stuff in your body and sometimes even without b!.c!. pills your body goes through changes and causes different degrees of color and constancy!. If you are young, you will realize it as you get older!. If it doesn't change in your next cycle or 2 then I'd go to the DR!. If you think it may be serious then you need to go to your Gynecologist!. And after your cycle, douche!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
