Why am I so short? im 18!?!
Question: Why am I so short!? im 18!!?
I am only around 5'1!. My moms 5'2!.5 and my dads around 5'6 or 7 tops!. I did take after my dad!. Why am I so short!? I didnt eat very healthy growing up but neither did my friend, she ate was less healthy than me, is anorexic looking and is 5'6 or so!. I don't get it!. Am I done growing or whats going on!? I look 14 or 15!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's all about genetics!. You get your height genes from both parents and there's really nothing you can do to change this!. Eventually you learn to just deal with being this petite!. I am 5'0" and stopped growing at your age and I've never had any problems with it socially or otherwise (btw!.!.!.my hubby is 6'0")!. What you need to concentrate on now is working on who you are on the inside!. Develop your personality and people will be attracted to you for what you are, not your height!. Although it probably bothers you now, looking young will be a big benefit when you are older!. I still get carded at 43!.!.!.LOL!. It actually makes me smile now!. If you average your parents' heights, it comes out to be 5 feet 3!.5 inches!.
And since you draw your genetic material from both of them !.!.!. AND your entire line of ancestors !.!.!. chances are you will probably be 5'1" or 5'2" tops!.
This is just the way things are!. There's nothing wrong with being petite (my boss BARELY breaks 5 feet even)!.!.!.believe me -- it's rough being a woman and standing nearly 6 feet tall!Www@Answer-Health@Com

your parents are short, so you are, too!. the genes you inherited determined that you would only grow so much, then stop!. your friend probably has taller parents and/or family members!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Guys like short girls!. You shorter you are the more likely a guy will be interested in you!.!.!. Guys like to feel like they need to protect a girl!. That's why tall girls have trouble finding guy if they are the same height!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
