The hymen isn't completely closed, it has some opening in it, enough to insert a tampon!. Unless your flow is heavy the vagina can be too dry to get it in easily!. Also it could be nerves!. Using tampons is kind of scary until you get used to it!. Switch to pads until you feel more ready!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
No!. You are probably trying to put it in at the wrong angle!. Stand up and put one foot up on the side of the bath tub and insert the tampon towards your back!. You should not feel it if it's inserted properly!. Also, check the diagram on the instructions from the tampon box; it's good and they work!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
well if u really want to use a tampon (instead of pad) then you should ask ur mom /sis/best girlfriend for advise!.!.!.b/c when i tried using it the 1st time it was too painful and gave up too easily!.!.!.!.so now i use pads also the fact that I'm still scared of TSS!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes it hurts because your hymen isn't broken !.!.!. girls have different thickness of their hymen so if yours is thicker it hurts more to have sex at first or to wear a tampon!. Tampons eventually break your hymen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
