Sharp Abdominal Pains?!
Question: Sharp Abdominal Pains!?
For the past week I've been having sharp abdominal pains!. Everyday I wake up and go most of the day feeling fine, but sure enough around 4-5pm EVERYday these pains come on!. They come and go lasting longer and longer as the night goes on!. It doesn't seem to matter whether I eat during the day or not!. I did recently start a new birth control pill (Necon) AND I've also been ordered by my doctor to cut out ALL carbs which I've been doing for 2 weeks now!. I thought I might be constipated(from lack of fiber in my new diet), but I've been taking Milk of Magnesia almost EVERYDAY and my pains do go away for like 5 min after I go to the bathroom, but then they come right back! This isn't much help to you I know!.
But you really need to talk to your doctor about these pains!. I am curious to know why your doctor has told you to cut out ALL carbs!.
Perhaps the doctor needs to do some tests just to be on the safe side and out rule anything serious!.

Could be a kidney infection!. Did you recently have Strep throat!? A urine dip-stick test would likely be run at your dr!.'s and abx will clear it up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
