Question: Delaying period!?
ok, so yesterday I went to the walk-in-clinik to get some pills that would delay my period (which is expected in 3 days)!. He gave me a prescription of birth control!. Today I got the birth control, already ate one and after eating read on the box that you're supposed to start it after your period!. But why would the doctor give me birth control (called Ovral 21) to delay my period !?!
Anyways, Ive already had the pill!. Will it help in delaying my period!? Am I in trouble for taking it at the "wrong time"!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes, it will!. usually birth control pills are giving in packets of 28!.!.!.the first 21 pills actually have the meds that regulate your period!. You won't have a period when you are taking these!. The last 7 pills of the month are "reminder" pills and actually don't have any meds at all in them!. You will have your period while you are taking these pills!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
No, they tell you to wait till your period so that you are protected from that moment on!. You can take it at anytime but you will have to use a back up method for a month unless you want to chance getting pregnantWww@Answer-Health@Com
