Yes, it might be better for you to get a slim one if they are hurting, but are you sure that you're putting it in correctly!? That's a common mistake!.

I would also try Tampax Pearl - very awesome brand that's extremely smooth and easy!.

If you are putting it in correctly, then they do have slimmer ones that expand just as much without the pain!. No worries!. I would wear a small pad so you don't leak on accident on the first few days you're on the new tampons!. It's all good!. Everyone goes though it!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You may need to change your tampon more often!.

Take a look at the slim-fit tampons and see what the heaviest absorbency is!. If it's something like Super or even Super-Plus then you're getting about the same protection (if not the same) as a regular tampon!. You can even compared what the tampons are rated to absorb on the sides of the boxes with your current brand!.

If you haven't tried Tampax Pearl, you may want to check those out!. They're very smooth, not too wide and easier to keep a grip on than many brands!. Most of the ladies I've talked with end up liking this brand, so its worth investigating!.

You may find that a single tampon is not enough to get your through an entire night's sleep!. So to save on embarassing accidents and sheet washing, wear an overnight pad the first few nights you are sleeping with a tampon in!. You may not need it, but its always better to waste a pad on heavy nights than to need one and not have it!. Believe me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yea probably you will have to change it more often since the smaller they are, the less filling they are!.!.!.But i know there are probably slim fit super tampons i blive, those might be a little better, but still the bigger , the more long lasting they probably will be!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you have a heavy period, shouldnt you be using a lrger tampon!?
If you get a smaller one, you have more chances of spotting/leaking!. I'd stick with the larger ones, at least you'll know youre safe!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well go to the store and get the super pluse ones they expand and work better for heavier period!.!. do not buy the ones that are in the cardboard containers use the plastic containersWww@Answer-Health@Com

you can find slimfits at walmart or any storeWww@Answer-Health@Com
