HPV and Gardisil Question?!

Question: HPV and Gardisil Question!?
Can you get hpv from a toilet seat!?

Do you think that getting the gardisil shot is worth it when your not planning on having sex at least out of marriage!? I am suppose to go back for my second gardisil shot tomorrow and I just don't want to do it because of this doctor's office!. Everytime I go there I have to wait FOREVER to get seen!. Last time I waited 2 hours to be seen!. I am not saying I will never get it!. I am only 20 so I have 6 years to do it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the chances of you getting it from a to;et seat is pretty low!. If you really plan on waiting until you are married, then you are at a very low risk of getting HPV anyways and I wouldnt go get the shots!. But that is me, I do not liket all this new stuff they have out!. I have heard some really bad things about that shot and it doesnt protect you from all types of HPV, yes it protects from the most dangerous ones that cause cancer but you can still get the on that causes warts!. That is really your call!. They put this stuff out for all of these crazy teens who are not educated enough about sex and are told just not to do it!. Well most kids i know do the exact opposite of what they are told not to do!. so these kids have sex parties and really dont care about the consiquenese of there actions!. they more than a shot for HPV!. They need shots for ganoria, clamidia, all stds cause these kids think its cute to spread this stuff around or just dont care as long as they are having fun doing it!. You sound like the complete opposite, keep up the good work!. Good luck hunWww@Answer-Health@Com

There are no documented cases of HPV being transmitted via a toilet seat!. As there are 30 sexually-transmissible kinds of HPV, it would be much more common than it already is if it were transmitted that easily!.

I commend you for not planning to have sex outside marriage!. However, there is no 100% guarantee that your future husband will do the same!. And right now there is no reliable HPV test for men (gay men can be tested via an anal swab, but that's about it)!.

Gardasil will protect you from 4 of the 30 kinds of HPV that you can get through sex; these 4 kinds cause most genital warts and most cervical cancers!. Gardasil is not 100% protection, but it helps!. HPV infection is now linked to head/neck/throat cancers in women; if you get HPV from giving a man oral sex, you are at risk for these types of cancers!.

Yes, waiting two hours to be seen can be a pain!. However, I have seen girls as young as 16 who are already being screened yearly for cervical cancer due to HPV infection!. I encourage you to continue your shots!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think you should continue the vaccines!. For one if you don't do it now and decide to get them later, you will have to start over!. Another reason is , Even if you don't plan on having sex now, you will eventually!. Who is to say that your partner doesn't have HPV and you don't know about it, we don't always know who they have been with!. Most likely you would not even know you had it until you go to get a pap smear!. That is what happen to me!. I had a normal pap smear and then 3 years later, I had HPV with severe dyspalasia and had to have surgery to get rid of it!. I ended up having to have a hysterectomy at 27 years old!. Gardasil is just like any other vaccines that we get as children!. it is given to prevent!. Isn't it better to be safe, than sorry!. I wish this vaccine had been available for me when I was your age, I wish I would have known about HPV at your age!. It is unlikely that you can get it from the toilet seat, the virus can't live very long outside the body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think you should continue the cycle of shots, just so that you don't have to start all over again!.

I also recommend you choose a different doc's office!. There is NO way you should be waiting 2 hours just to have a vaccine!.

You could aslo tell the front office staff when you get there that you have a VERY important appointment, and ask to be seen ASAP, that has worked for me on several occasions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Um!.!.!.!.You can't get HPV from a "common cold"!. Sorry, but that's just stupid!.

To the original poster: Why would you get something that you don't need!? There has not been sufficient testing on this drug that they are suddenly mass administrating!. Don't you think that if it were so important for women to be protected from cervical cancer, men would be given the same vaccine to just eliminate HPV altogether!? The whole process doesn't make sense and several deaths have occurred as reactions to the shots, but of course that has been very well hushed up!.

Don't put poison in your body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

before you get the shot please read about the shot my web site has a lot of sites to look at www!.freeweb!.com/againstgardasil i had a bad reaction to the shot i now have siezures and there are worse things happen to other girlsWww@Answer-Health@Com

if you are 20 you should know that cervical cancer is inherited and not sexually transmitted, i do think you should continue to do this, i am and it runs in my family!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
