Tampax Sucks?!
Question: Tampax Sucks!?
I haven't used tampons since my tween days and then I stopped because even super plus tampons wouldn't hold all the blood that I was dishing out!. So now I am on bcps and it is making my period ligher!. So I am back to tampons again!. I don't think I ever used tampax until now, but they do suck!
(Sorry for the grossness) I just pulled out a tampax tampon that hasn't been in for very long!. It was super and of course it leaked!. But the whole tampon was bloody but it didn't expand like it was suppose to and it looked like i just took it out of the wrapper(but of course was all bloody)!. It expanding helps protect against leakage right!? I remember when I used playtex it expanded!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ok here's what I've found with tampons: Some expand vertically and some expand horizontally!. The only ones that I've found to expand horizontally are OB!. All the others (Playtex, Tampax, Kotex, etc) all get longer instead of wider!. I've found that if it expands horizontally it actually helps with preventing leaks!. You might try OB!. I know they don't have applicators but they really aren't that bad to use!. Or you can try a Diva cup!. It is a reusable silicon cup that holds the blood instead of absorbing it!. It sounds gross but it's actually not!. It's more comfortable and it doesn't dry "down there" out at all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Tampax doesn't expand very much but they should be absorbing!.
Try a sport tampon, they're great for giving 360 protection against leaks!. You really just have to experiment with different brands, they're all different!.

Thats weird!.!.!. doesn't happen to me and I've always used tampax!.
