Sexual education?!

Question: Sexual education!?
I'm in sixth grade so we are having sex ed!. I have had previous knowledge so i know things!. I realized there is a lot of important info that was not gone over!. I feel it is wrong they didn't go over subjects like safe sex, masturbation, and they said nothing about erections, ejaculation, or condoms!. How do you feel about this subject!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Sex Education is as important as Math etc!.

To know about physical locations as well as use of sex glands is very important and is either not taught at all or glossed over!.

To understand and actually been physically taught or personally shown is paramount in understanding your own sexuality or the sexuality of the opposite gender!.

Marriages fall apart and in the wake families fall apart due to mis-information of sex education to younger children and on up to adults!.

males not understanding how to sexually please the female and vice-versa and therefore can lead of break-up etc!.which breaks up the family, young and old!.

I hope this helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com

I think that it is great to have in schools!. However I am confused if they don't discuss, safe sex and condoms what exactly is making it a sex ed class!. When my son had it they spoke of STD, which meant they had to discuss condoms and safe sex, they spoke of reproduction, which has to include semen /sperm which means they had to touch basis on ejaculation!. Your state might have a guideline as to what your school are able to teach in sex ed and maybe it is abstinence instead of safe sex!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That is terrible that they didn't go over any of those things! If all they talked about was abstinence then SHAME ON THEM! I suggest that you get the book "what's happening to my body!?" by Lynda Madaras!. My mom got me that book years ago and it has so much helpful information in it and really prepared me for becoming sexually active!. Good for you that you already know the importance of safe sex and condoms!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, sex ed is very limited, due mainly to the religious fanatics who make things difficult for everyone!. this means that kids get mechanical information, but very little that is actually useful to them!. And as for masturbation, orgasms, ejaculation, feelings, emotions, or common sexual practices, well we can't discuss those can we!. Doh!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are young!. Google if you are curious! otherwise you will learn soon enough!Www@Answer-Health@Com
