Anyone have mirena?!
Question: Anyone have mirena!?
do you have mirena!? are you happy with it!? why or why not!? i have never had an IUD before and i go to my post checkup tomorrow and i am getting mirena!. what can i expect!? also with the payment plan is that through mirena or through the doctors office!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes I have Mirena right now!.!.!.!.for 1 1/2 years now:) I really have to say that I "love" it and "dislike" it!
When I had Mirena inserted it WAS painful for me (had C-section with both my kids)!. I bled for about 3 months and that was basically cleeding straight for those three months!!! I had an occasional few days within those three months that I did not bleed!. When the bleeding stopped all I had was spotting and that lasted for about 5-6 months and was so spontaneous when it did happen!. I would say after about 9 months I stopped getting my period all together!!! I had a friend who just had got Mirena and she never had the bleeding issues that I did and only bleeds when it is time for her period!.!.!.!.!.so it is different from person to person! I would say that as of now I LOVE Mirena because it is such an effective Birth control (almost as effective as tubal ligation!.!.w/o being permanent!)!. I like the fact that I/you can keep it for five years!!! That is AWESOME!!:)
I hate that I have not had a period in a year and a half!! I know most any woman would LOVE that, but I almost feel "less" womanly without it!?!!?!
As with the payments my isurance did cover it!. I would assume though (only assumption) that the plan for payments would be through the Doctors office for you!?!!?

yeah i had it i hated i had mine removed!.!.!.!.i bleed from the time i got it untill i had it removed!.!.!.!.it wanst painful when i got inserted or removed my insuranced paid for mineWww@Answer-Health@Com
