The failure rate for ALL means of BTL is about 1%!. Clamps have a slightly higher chance of coming undone!. I don't know about the length of time, but I can tell you that my mother became pregnant with my brother with clamp-BTL after 5!.5 years!.!.!.!.so it CAN happen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
