TSS scared!?!
Question: TSS scared!!?
last night I fell asleep with a super absorbent tampon in and woke up at 7:30 this morning!.!.I had bled through it!.!.and it was on my undergarments!.!.I removed it and I don't feel any symptoms, but I know that was dangerous and I will never do that again!!! Should I be ok or do symptoms appear later!?!? I'm really worried and I am going to wear pads for the rest of my period!Www@Answer-Health@Com

TSS symptoms are usually caused by using a too high absorbancy!. If you woke up this morning and had bled through, then you should be fine!. Problems usually arise when someone is not bleeding much and uses a super tampon!. The body reacts because it has nothing to be absorbed!. Also, the symptoms come on pretty quickly and you probably would be feeling them by now if you were going to feel them at all!. Like I said!.!.!.!.it sounds like you will be just fine!. well TSS is rare, but ive had it, woo! just be careful for the next couple of days that you dont start developing signs of having the flu, if u do then just go to the doctor to be safe!. eight hours really isnt that long to have it in though so you should be ok!. good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
I've done the same thing lots of times!. TSS is VERY rare!. it is not likely that you have it because the symptoms come up very fast!. just keep an eye on yourself and if you start to feel faint, tell someone that you might be afraid!. if you feel fine, then you probably are!. wearing a tampon too long isn't a guarantee that you will get TSS!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

TSS is very, very rare!. I wouldn't worry about it right now!. I think the one of the main symptoms is a extremely high fever!.!.!.but I doubt anything is going to happen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
