If you have a tampon (the right size for your flow) inserted then no!. Also assuming that the tampon is changed regularly!.
Without a tampon your flow could seep into the water, but the amount depends on how heavy your period is!.

actually!.!.only if the water temp!. is lower then your mentraul blood's temp!. otherwise it stays up there!. but just to be safe wear a tampon in public pools or lakes because when you cough or sneeze it come out more rapidly!.
