Is it normal to skip your period?!

Question: Is it normal to skip your period!?
I am 17, turning 18 in August!.!.!. I didn't get my period last month at all, is this normal!? Just so you know I'm not sexually active or whatever!.

I think it's happened before but I can't remember!.

If it is normal, then why do periods just skip a month sometimes!?

well ive heard of this before it could be from excessive exerszie and weight loss and not eating!. or it coudl be a hormonal thing I got my period when i was 13 and never missed a period it was always on time (im 27) until i had a baby last july and im currently breastfeeding so now i seem to only get a period every 2 to 3 months instead of every 1 month!. so i dont think its normal, i hope mine comes back 2 normal!. O yeah if your really overweight it could be abnormal and tat can cause infertilty so if your like obese and its relaly abnormal see a gyno right away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
