Eating more raw fruits and vegetables can make the pain lessen significantlyWww@Answer-Health@Com

Looking at how your mother's situation is will usually tell you alot about yours!. Without a hefty pain pill once a month I would not be able to move and would vomit from pain!. At the same time the women in my family have an easy time with childbirth!.

Exersize will definately help you!. If you're more active and fit this time is easier!.

If you're sexually active and have sex right before it starts it makes it alot more bareable as well!.

You can also talk to your OBGYN but usually all they say is medication!.

A lesser medication would be an asprin everyday for a few days before your period and during it because of the anti-inflamitory in it!. This helps with swelling and reduces the pain as well!.

A heating pad is also wonderful!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1!. Sit in a hot bath or use a heating pad!. Wear an adhesive heating pad ( http://www!.thermacare!.com/menstrual/inde!.!.!. available at any drugstore) inside your clothes while you are on the go!. Eating hot food and drinking hot drinks can also help!.

2!. Lie on your side or propped up at a 45-degree angle by pillows to take the pressure off your uterus!.

3!. Take deep breaths!. Cramps happen when your uterus contracts!. The pain can become very intense when the uterus contracts so hard that it cuts off its own blood and oxygen supply!. Keep the oxygen supply up by breathing deeply and having a diet rich in vitamin B-12 (found in eggs, dairy, and many breakfast cereals) and iron (found in red meat, fish, poultry, lentils, beans, leaf vegetables, tofu, chickpeas, black-eyed peas, potatoes with skin, bread made from completely whole-grain flour, and molasses)!.

4!. Potassium (found in orange juice, potatoes, bananas, avocados, tomatoes, broccoli, soybeans and apricots, although it is also common in most fruits, vegetables and meats) can help relieve cramps on a cellular level, so be sure to eat lots of it!.

5!. Some women find that having an orgasm relieves cramps!.

6!. If you are wearing a tampon, switch to a pad!. I find that tampons can make my cramps worse for some reason!.

7!. Some women say that strengthening their core muscles (e!.g!. abs) helped with their cramping!.

I hope I helped!Www@Answer-Health@Com
