i had the Mirena inserted a year ago!. it was kind of uncomfortable!. the cramps afterwards were killer! worse than period cramps!. but they didn't last too long!. a couple hours!. i went home & slept after having it put in!.
good luck! and take some ibuprofen or tylenol before having it put in!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
