Answers:
Tell her you're concerned about not having your cycle yet and you want to get checked out!. No need to discuss the sexual activity with anyone but the OB/GYN!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Is she religious!? Does she have problems with premarital sex!? has she ever told you that you can talk to her about these things!?

As a mother of a teenager, I can say that if your Mother has not talked to you about sex or if she has made you feel that you can't go to her about it, or if she has been hung up about you not having sex until marriage, I would advise you to go to Planned Parenthood and get an exam!. Most places you don't have to have your parents' permission!.

I was scared to tell my Mom when I was 16, and when she found out, she said I was going to Hell and she forbid me to leave the house for quite some time, and wanted me to break up with my boyfriend so badly that she finally would not let me see him or any other boy!. If you are afraid your mother might react like this, don't risk it, just go to Planned Parenthood, because it's not worth it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My friend didn't get hers until she was 29!. That happens once in a while but you do need to go get a checkup to make sure everything's fine!. If you dont want your mother to know then you can go to the health clinic in your county and tell them your concerns!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

At 17 you should have already started your monthly cycles!. Explain to your mom that you haven't and need to see a gyn to make sure there is no problems!. She doesn't need to know the rest!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
