I am a 22 years old woman!. My Labial lips are very large and long!. I do not like it and I have problems!. I heard that doctors can short it!? is it easy like male circumcision!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is actually surgeries that can reduce the size of your labia!. There are a couple of different methods one involves traditional surgery with scalpels and such and the newer method involves the use of lasers!. It is NOT female circumcision (or some call it Female Genital Mutilation [FGM] )!.
There are several types of FGM with differing degrees of severity and pain inflicted!. FGM is practised in some African countries amongst several tribes plus with some Muslim groups, although it is not really part of the Islamic teachings!.
The types are: --
1) Just scratching or nicking the clitoris!. This is ceremonial and there is minimal pain involved!.
2) Removal of the Clitoris!. This is often done by an elderly woman in the village using a piece of glass, razor blade etc!., and performed on girls around 4-6 years of age!.In some cultures it is done just before the girl marries -- 13-15 years of age!. It is extremely painful as no form of anaesthetic is used!. Infections are common and can cause major problems!.
3) Removal of the Labia Minora, removal of the clitoris!. This is even more severe and done in the same manner and to girls about 4-6!.
4) The most severe form -- Removal of the clitoris, labia minora plus scrapping the labia majora then sewing the labia majora together leaving only a small hole for urination and menstruation!. The labia aren't like the male foreskin in that they have nerves running through them!? Do a bit of research, the foreksin is not just skin, it is full of nerves and very sensitive! God, such prejudice!
You are thinking of a labioplasty!. Personally, I have large labia and like them, and have found men like them too, but since you are not a child and it is not being done against your will, you can choose to have it done!. I believe there are risks of having some scar tissue, and of having some post-surgery numbness!. but that is a risk you may be prepared to take!. Depends how drastic you go I suppose!. Well, I watched a thing on t!.v about it!. And they said that it is one of the most common surgery's nowadays!. That most women feel that they are too long!. Basically all they do is the make an incision to shorten them and stitch it up!. The pain would be the pain of having a small incision somewhere on your body and stitched up!. You need to consult a vaginal plastic surgeon and no it is not simple!. the labial lips are not just folded skin like the male genitalia, but have nerve endings running through them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
