Question: How to avoid having my period on my wedding day Arrr!!?
Think I'm due on the weekend of my wedding I'm on the pill how can I avoid this do I -

A stop pill early or
B continue into the next month!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I take 4 packets at a time then have a period cus i get really bad pains so im sure its perfectly safe to do so!.
stopping the pill early could mess it up tho!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are on the combined pill then take a pack back to back and you shouldn't have a withdrawal bleed that month!.
Don't know about the mini pill though, I'm on it and haven't had a period for over a year!. See your doctor if this is the case and they can advise you how to avoid itWww@Answer-Health@Com

keep on the active pills(skip over the placebo pills!.) I know alot of people do this to avoid their periods at inopertune times!. I would as a doctor or pharmasist about the EFFECTIVENESS of the pill this way though!.!.!.you might want to use back up protection for birthcontrol that month!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My wife regulated her date by taking a few extra days of pills or a few less to move it a few days!. There was never a proble with it!. Just don't try to change things too drastically like a couple of weeks!.

my gp has told me that is is perfectly fine to continue onto your next month of pills as technically you don't release an egg and a period is "necessary" each and every month!.

Try the BC "shot" it's depo provera it will keep the demon away!.!. Also, try the pill if you keep taking them and don't skip the week off you wont get your period either!.!.!.!. Your Gyno can help you with this! Good Luck and Congrats on the wedding!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Definitely carry on into the next month, if you do it occassionaly, its all fine, the doctor said you can do it from time to time and Ive done it with no problems xD

Just continue on your pill for the next month!. I have done it several times, and in the literature that comes with the pill it will say that is it safe to do so!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you can get tablets from your doctor a few days before to stop period!. i had the same problem when i went on my hols!.
