!.!.!. Esp!. those who was born in the late 1980s and onwards!? Why do most young women find parenthood important to them in their lifetime!?

I was born in 1985, and I want to have kids some day, but I see your point with this obsession among girls even younger than me!. But where to begin with this!.!.!.
I think it has a lot to do with how the media portrays motherhood as this goal - if you don't have kids, then you're not loved!. I've noticed that girls my age who already have kids, 9 of 10 times, got knocked up because they mistake the feeling of 'love' with trapping a guy into a relationship, by having that kid!. Now, most guys don't fall for this because they know the difference, and now this poor kid's growing up in a broken home!.
Also, from a young age, I know all of my friends and I were always told that we were going to grow up, be nurses and have kids!. So it's impressioned upon us at a very young age, by an older generation of more traditional thinking women, who did just that - grew up to be teachers and then have kid!.!.!.after kid!.!.!.after kid!.!.!.!.Because that's what there mother's did and their mother's mothers before them!. Now that lifestyles are changing drastically, I would expect that young women born in the mid to late 90's are going to have a totally different perception on how important children are going to be in their lives!. Not that I think you'd want to wait around that long for a girl with that kind of opinion!.
I blame this situation on media portrayal and Lifetime movies that tell girls, "if he doesn't love you now, get knocked up! Everything will be okay and then he will love you!" And being as gullible and impressionable as they are, well!.!.!.they believe it!.
I myself am not dead-set on bearing children anywhere in the next four years or so, at least not until I know that I'm in a commited relationship and well settled, making plenty of money and have bought a house!. I do not want to be lumped into that 'stereotype' of white-trash, baby mama drama, trailer trash, so to speak!.
However, I do not frown upon women who do decide childbirth is not for them!. More power to them! And kudos for trying to find a woman with strong opinions and who won't change them to adhere to what everyone else is doing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's a womans instinct to want children, why do you think little girls play with baby dolls!? This is the way we're programed, we want children!. It may also be linked to the fact that woman love miniatured things like doll houses, small cars, nic-nacs, and well what do you know little tiny humans!. And i also think that children give some women a meaning, it makes some women feel like they've accomplished something by having and raising children!. It gives us purpose and responsibility!. And also a child is a tiny version of you and your partner!. Being able to look at a child and see features of their father, whom you love, makes a woman feel like they'll always have him with her!. well guess im one of these girls your talking about, and im loving every minute of being a mum!. been with my partner ever since just before my 17th birthday, he has a kid to another girl, and 1 to me, we bout a house 5months after being together and have lived it it ever since, i have 1 kid who is just over 1 and is the best thing ever!. i am in a happy relationship and happy with my life!. wouldnt change nothing!.
i never felt it to be important to have kids, just accidentally got pregnant, which was my own fault for not taking contreception, but have learnt to take it now, am glad i had my kid, lights up my world!.
why are you making such a big deal bout what age people have kids its their lifes and maybe thats how they want it to be, a house wife,
i say each to their own decisions and do what makes you happy and if you have a kid make it for the right reasons not for a guy or anything!.

I think that it is just something ingrained in the minds of young women today!.!.!.they all want the complete package, house, car, husband, dog, and 2!.5 kids!. It has become almost a plague I think!. This is going to sound radical but I really think that people should have to have a license to have kids, take classes, something!. There are way too many irresponsible parents out there (poor and wealthy alike) that think children are the newest arm accessory or a way to make their failing relationship work!.
