Why does my 8 year old sister in law look at my stomach every time I see her?!

My sister in law is at a high risk of becoming obese if her height to weight ratio stay the same as an adult!. I was pregnant last year and she loved it because it gave her someone she could relate to because I was gaining weight and my stomach looked like hers!. She justified her heavy eating with mine and claimed her looks were ok because I had a round protruding belly too!.

Now that I'm not pregnant, she eats more than I eat!.

It was cute back then- to a point!. Now every time she sees me, the first thing she does is look at my stomach!. I don't know why!.
I wonder if it's because she wishes I was still pregnant, she wants to see if I lost my weight, or what!

I know she's only a kid and probably doesn't realize that she does it, but I've taken notice to it!. I've lost my tummy and it's flat now!.!. so she can look all she wants- she's just going to get upset!
