Ya I remember the day I had to tell mine!. You are going to want to crawl under a rock!. When you do get it, you could do what i did and just tell your closest friend first!. They may advise you on what to do!. Just say something like mom there's blood in my underwear!. She'll have a mom moment, then you go shoppin for pads, (also embarassing)!. But every thing after that isn't that bad!. Make sure you carry pads in your backpack in case you get it when you are at school!.

start out with a calm conversation and then when neither of u are talking, just say "hey guess wat!. i got my period!."

well when you tell her just relax and tell her about what happened like you might say "umm mom I think I have had my period!." and well she will believe you and go get you all the special supplies you need for thatWww@Answer-Health@Com
When you get your period - ask her to go get you some tampons or pads!.
