Heavy exercise can definitely cause missed periods!. Also, being super active can actually cause a lighter period rather than a more heavy period!. Make sure you're still eating well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It all depends!.
You're 14, so your period is going to fluctuate a lot anyway!.
Being an athlete, that's doubly true!.
It may not be 2 times as strong though!.

Help me with mine!.

Yes, exercise can throw off your cycle, especially if you have low body fat!.

I don't have low body fat, so it's never happened to me, but I know that it's common!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I used to be in track and when I first got in shape and went through some extensive training I had late periods!. I also read about if you diet and intense exercising may cause changes in your period!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It might be a little heavier, but nothing to worry about!. What works, is sleep with a light on, you'll start your period the next day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
