Question: I have only had periods every other month, is this a problem!?
im 16 and my periods started when i was 12!. they have always been very very irregular, never starting on the same date and lasting for different periods of time although they are always neither really heavy or really light!. They only come every other month i have never had a period 2 months in a row!. Once they stopped for 6 months altogether!.This isn't an issue now but i was wondering when i want to start a family when im older will this be an issue!? and is it anything to worry about!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was like that too!. I'd go 2 or 3 months at a time!. Sometimes I'd go 6-8 months!. I had all sorts of tests done, and there was nothing wrong with me!. It did take me 2 years to get pregnant the first time!. When my son was 6 months old, I decided to go off the pill, and start working on baby # 2!. Thinking it might take 2 years again, I was a little surprised when I got pregnant right away!. My son & daughter are 16 months apart!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i spoke to my mum about it, and we went to our GP and she said it's normal, as i get older they will get more regular :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
