You need to make an a appointment with a gyn so they can induce a period!.
It is not good not have a period for more then 3 months because it puts you at risk for getting cancer!. That's because when your uterine lining doesn't shed like it is suppose to every month it builds and builds up and sometimes it can cause abnormal cell growth!.
When you make an appointment with the gyn also ask for birth control pills so you can make sure that you get your period every month like you are suppose to!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well i had that problem when i was 16 it was strange i wouldnt have my period for months and when it came it would be heavy and took about over a week for it to stop!. I didnt know what was wrong for a year to scared to see a doctor then i became anemic lost alot of blood and fainted!. I dont know if thats your case but they gave me birth control to make my period normal called "Tri Nessa" been on it for about a year and a half and my periods are normal and i know everytime when im going to start!. So i suggest you should use that to fix your problem!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I used to have irregular periods, my doctor put me on yazmin which is the combined pill, and this regulated me try that!. but see the doctor and don't worry as this will just stress you out and that can affect your body also and stop your cycle!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Try researching polycystic ovarian syndrome - that's the most common cause of irregular periods in young women!.
