Question: Is it okay to smoke if yur on birth control!?!!?
I don't even go through a pack a week!. And I only smoke like 3-4 a day!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is a risk of stroke when using Birth Control, smoking increases this risk!. The risk would be proportional to the amount you smoke, I'd assume!.

Smoking is horrible for you anyway!. :) You should quit!. If not for yourself, than for your loved ones!. It sure will suck for them when they have to take care of you when you're dying of cancer or respiratory disease!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, there is a heightened risk of developing blood clots in your body if you smoke while on birth control, especially if you're over the age of 35!. That's all I can tell ya!. You'll need to decide for yourself if giving up smoking is something you want to do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is strongly recommended not to, especially over the age of 30!. It increases your risk of getting blood clots, thus increasing your risk of a heart attack!.
