when you get your period, your supposed to be on the placebo week!. its fake sugar pills just to keep u in the habit of taking them every day!.
BUT, i've gotten my period before while still on the normal pills!. and if thats your case, YES still take them!.
if your on the placebo week, i would still take them, just to have that reminder still, but no need to freak if u miss a day of those,

You wouldn't start taking the pills on the day you began your period, no!. Most packs have you start on a Sunday!. Choose the Sunday immediately following your period!. For example, if you got your period today (monday) you could start it on Sunday!. Your period doesn't have to be finished when you start taking them either!. As long as you've had it for at least a few days, you're good to start taking it!. Read the information provided to you with your pills and also look up the website of whatever particular pill you're on!. All the information's on there!. If you're still confused, make a call to your dr and they can clarify it for you!.

There are two options to starting your birthcontrol pills!. 1!.) Day-1 Start: Start the pills within the first 24hrs!. of starting your cylce!. This way you DO NOT need back up methods for Pregnancy protection!. 2!.) Sunday Start: Birthcontrol pills can also be started the Sunday AFTER you start your period, even if your still on you cycle!. This way, you SHOULD use back up methods for PREGNANCY protection!.

no!.!.!. when you're on your period you take a "fake" pill!. It's has no effect on you!. And then when you stop you begin taking your birth control again!. The fake pill is just to keep you in the habit of taking it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
