Question: I have a bad smell and itching in my underwear, [read more]!?
i'm 14 years old and i recently trimmed the hairs in my vagina!. i have a bad odor down there and it itches!. does it have anything to do with the fact that i trimmed the hairs down there!? i want to go to the doctor just to be sure, but im scared!.!.!.im only in eigth grade, and i recently used a cream, it stops the itching [but only for awhile, not for good] but not the smell!. i dont know what to do!. and if i go to the doctor, im scared they'll smell the bad odor and i don't shave the hair down there cause it itches too much so im nervous and i dont want to go!.!.!.what do i do!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if your not sexually active, its a bacterial infection most likely!. dont worry about the DR, they deal with this and it is normal thing!.
some women have to be careful and use mild soapss, no fragrances or smelly soaps!. and sometimes women have to shower and not bathe!.
shaving oor trimming could be causing teh itching and if you used shaving cream could have caused an infection!.

Just go to the doctor it's probably just a yeast infection!. You'll get some medication and the condition will clear up in no time!.!.!. However, if you've involved yourself in "risky" behavior you may want to go the doctor anyway and make sure everything is ok!.!.!.!. "Down there" will itch because the hair is growing back and causing stubble!.!. Also, if you take bubble baths and use scented creams/lotions in that area you may have gotten an infection!.!. Either way see the doctor so he/she can help you!.!.!.

does it smell like fish!? it sounds like a bacterial infection!.i dont think it has anything to do with you trimming your hair down there!. and the only way to get rid of it is going to a DR!. and they will give you antibiotics!.you shouldnt feel scared about going to the DR!. and the smell you shouldnt be embarassed about going to the DR about that is a sign of an infection!. you need to tell your mom so she can take you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like you have a yeast infection!. Take some acidhophillus or you can go to the pharmacy or doctor and grab a 3 day treatment!. EIther way, Cut dow on the white sugar (breads candy, coffee,t ea) Try eating yougurt!. No need to shave!.

its vb!. its really commen and causes a fishy type smell and lots of discharge, its actuarly caused through being too clean using too much soap and stuff down below!. If ur too embarressed to go to doctors get some live natural yoghurt and put that inside u, it corrects the bacteria balance, which is the cause!. Also i suggest u wear tampax to stop the discharge escaping as thats what causes the smell, and people will notice it!. good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
hair in your pelvic regions is there for a reason, it helps to maintain pH!. When you trim or shave you decrease it's ability to work for you, you probably have a yeast infection at the least, and bacterial vaginosis at the worst!. could be a yeast infection and the cream probably wasn't strong enough!. go to a doctor!. yeast infections a re common and some people get it more than others!. I'm 26!. When i was prgnant I had yeast infections for a while!. but the doctor will be able to better treat it than you!. having that does not mean that you are sexually active it could be from tight pants or jeans!. it could come from wearing underwear that is nit cotton or it could come from a hormanal imbalance which causes an overproduction of the yeast that your body naturally produces!. whatever it is tell ur parents its ok and have them take u to the doctorWww@Answer-Health@Com
Shaving wouldn't cause a bad odor from your vagina dear, unless you cut yourself pretty bad and you've not showered for a while (which I doubt) then you might have got a slight infection of the cut!. Other than that it could be something like a yeast infection which in some cases is common in girls and women even if they've not had sex!. I'd speak to your doctor about the odor and don't worry about it, doctors see and smell a lot worse I'm sure!. It's part of it, call, make an appt!. express your concern about the odor and they will direct you from there, don't worry too much till you go in!. Just keep yourself clean and dry, maybe a little bit of baby powder in your underwear with cornstarch to ensure you're dry!. Soap and warm water, make sure you rinse well!.
