Question: Your opinon on birth control!?
this is my first time going on birth control pills (im 19) and im not using them because of sex since im not planning on doing that anytime soon!. Basically i want it for my period, you know more lighter, less cramps!. Anyways there's 3 popular brands ive heard of which are:
Yaz
Yasmin
Alesse
I just wanted to know which one you liked the best, the side effects and did it make you gain weight, if so how much!?
I know everyone has a different body but im just curious which one i should try first!.

I was on Yasmin for years!. It is very affective!. I never gained weight but I did have one small side effect!. When I first went on Yasmin I started having yeast infections!.!. I had about 3 within 3 months!. I stopped taking the pills but a year later I went back on!. I never had any other infections after the 3 at the beginning!. The pills gave me shorter, quicker & less painful periods!. I used to have killer cramps and birth control made me have less painful cramps!. I recommend it!.!. just don't get Depo Provera!.!. that damn shot made me have my period for 110 days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

as far as gaining weight, the pill doesn't put on the pounds!.!.!.!.what it does is slow down your metabolism and increase your apatite!. that's where the weight comes from!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

hey hun, try Alesse! Its a low dose or hormones and I was also scared i would react to it!. But I actually lost weight and didnt have any reaction to it except some nausea the first week!. Try that one and good luck :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
I've been on Alesse and had no bad side effects, no weight gain, and a very very light period!.
I've heard good stories about Yaz and Yasmin as well, but be warned that they tend to be expensive!.

i am on aleese i like it except that for the first two months my period was really heavy!. It has actually made me loose weight i have lost 30 lbs!. since i started!. But this may be to to something else!. I also have friends who are on it and they didn't gain weight!. It has been fine for me!. HOPE this helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com
