Question: So I went to the doctors today!.!.!.!?
Cuz I had to get my birth control refilled!. The doctor asked me if I smoked and I said 'no' and then she checked my breathing and she said 'okay yur breathing is good!.' And I do smoke but not a lot!.!.!. only like 3-4 or none at all a day!. Do you think it's bad that I said that I didn't smoke!?!Www@Answer-Health@Com

doctors are pretty knowledgeable, and they may have caught it, but did not want to confront you!. its always the best to be truthful with your doctor!. They are there to help you in the best ways they can!.
be careful also, smoking while taking birth control may cause an increased chance of breast cancer!.
just try to be honest with them!. your breathing may sound good now, but just a few smokes a day can really add up over time!. Doctors are good people and are there to help!.

It's probably better to tell the doctor since they know your health history and can consider all of the risks with your prescription!.
You could talk to your pharmacist when you get your prescription filled about smoking while using the pill!. Drug interactions can be very dangerous, so definitely ask your doctor or pharmacist!.

She wanted to know because smoking with birth control increases your chance of blood clots!. She would have still given you the pills, but she would have advised you to quit smoking!.

Sorry but you should have told your doctor the truth!. Some meds can have side effects if you smoke!. So you either need to call your doctor and tell them the truth or quit smoking just to make sure!. You do not want to have any bad side effects!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Depends on how long you've been smoking!. Minimalize it while you take any pills!. My friends that are on the pill have quit smoking!. I can't say if it was because they were on the pill or not, but I know nearly all of em have quit and still on the pill!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
