I think I have endometreosis. Can they do a laparoscopy with a spinal tap instea!
Question: I think I have endometreosis!. Can they do a laparoscopy with a spinal tap instead of putting me out!?
I don't want to be put to sleep if I don't have to be!. I've had a spinal tap before with a C-Section, and I did really good with it!. I'd rather be awake for the laparoscopy they do to check if I have endometreosis!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's possible that they could but the reason that general anesthesia is usually used for laparoscopy (depending on the patient's overall medical history) is because of the work that would be done during the laparoscopy to try and remove the endo!.
It would be more than just the pulling and pressure that comes with a C-section!.
I would recommend asking your doctor about the possibility of using spinal anesthesia instead to see what they say!. Also, talk to the anesthesiologist to see what they say!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
