Question: Removal of the Minera coil and fertility!.!?
Im currently on the Minera coil (July 2006 put in) and would like your experiences of having it taken out regarding contraception!. I want it taken out as I would like to try for a baby with my new partner!. How long was it before your fertility returned to normal!? Have you had problems concieving since it was taken out!? ( I know that the hormone that they use is the same as in the depo prova injection!. I was on that form of contraception in 1997 which worked brilliant, and I got caught pregnant 4 months later after I stopped having it!. However I had this same injection (depo prova) back in May 2006 and did not stop bleeding for 2 months even after taking tablets to help stop the bleeding plus a further 2 shots of the injection!. (3 in total!) That time it did not work for me!. So the coil was put in ) The coil has been working perfectly for nearly 2 years now after taking 12 months to settle!. So how long was it before you got pregnant!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

When the Mirena coil is removed fertility returns to normal almost immediately!. You were very lucky falling pregnant so soon after having depo-provera as it can take up to 18months for fertility to return to normal !. Hope this answers your question!. good LuckWww@Answer-Health@Com
