It depends on the size of the guys penis, and your vagina also ofcourse!. It took me a good 5 or something times to actually start to enjoy it!. Your vagina is adjusting to all of a sudden getting something shoved up it, it takes time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
There are a few things you can do to reduce the pain!.
Remember, there are muscles in there, and if you're uncomfortable or nervous, you will unconsciously tense up, making your vagina smaller, and it will be more painful when penetrated!.
Also make sure your partner is taking his time in foreplay!. It will help you relax, and when you get turned on, there are natural juices that will help lubricate and reduce the friction!. It is also very helpful to buy lubricant (KY jelly, etc!. You can find it at a local drug store near the condoms) and apply it both to him and yourself!. This cuts way down on the friction, which causes a lot of the pain!.
And remember, if you've only had sex three times, it will take a few times for your body to get used to stretching!. However, if it's been more than five or ten times and you're still having pain, go speak to a OBGYN, they should get you checked out to make sure you don't have any abnormal muscle spasms or anything!.
