Question: I might have yeast infection!?!? I'm scared!!?
I have pretty irregular discharge between periods and i wasn't so worried because it would be clear or white!.
Today i noticed that its a yellowy color and thick (only i can't really tell if its thicker than usual) which i heard could be a sign for infection!?!?
but it doesn't ever itch or anything though and i'm only 16!
Also can this hurt my boyfriend!? We never went all the way but we have done second and third base!. I didn't know i could have it :<<

First of all, yeast infections aren't big deals, babies get them for crying out loud, no reason to be scared!. It's not necessarily an STI!.
First of all, it doesn't really sound like a yeast infection, various things can cause discharge changes!. Is the discharge chunky!? Does it have a real foul odor!?
If so, then this may be a yeast infection!.!.!.however, itching is EXTREMELY common symptom and you don't have that!. So far as homeopathic remedies, sometimes they will clear up on their own, you can try eating some yogurt!.
If you can get to a drug store, grocery store, convenience store!.!.!.you can pick up Monistat7!. This is an over the counter yeast infection treatment!. Even if you don't have a yeast infection for sure, it wouldn't HURT to use this, but if there is no odor, and it's not chunky, I'd wait it out a bit until you have more symptoms!.
So far as "hurting" your boyfriend, yes yeast infections can spread!. If you are not having sex, or having his penis rub against you, it's probably okay so far as spreading to him genitally (and if it does, it can also be cleared, yeast infections are not considered STD's and are not permanent)!. There are possibilities of it transferring orally, and it could simply cause thrush in said persons mouth, but this is not very common!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Are you taking any antibiotics right now!? A lot of times they cause yeast infections!. Even if that's what it is, it's no big deal, and it can't hurt your boyfriend!. I highly recommend eating a ton of yogurt!. The cultures in yogurt ward off yeast infections!. Also, it never hurts to drink a ton of water and cranberry juice (not cocktail, you don't want all of the sugar!.) That will help if it's something else like an infection!. OK discharge is a kinda yellow and can be a lil thick and i know cuz i do have it and no its not an infection anyways if it smells bad or kinda fishy and hurts or even just the smell you could have an infection so talk to your mom and maybe she can help bc you can get stuff from the store! good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Actually, if you do have a yeast infection, you don't have to go to the dr!. You can go to the pharmacy and buy an over-the-counter treatment for it!.

They sell test kits in drugstore like Rite Aid to determine what kind of infection you have!. I don't know how much they are though!.

There are over the counter treatments for yeast infections, but this is the least of what might be going on with you!.!.!.I would say try something from walmart for the possiblity that it is a yeast infection, and if it doesn't get better, GO TO THE DOCTOR!Www@Answer-Health@Com

if it smells bad it is prolly bacterial vaginosis and then you will have to go to the dr to get a prescription!. that is not a yeast infectionWww@Answer-Health@Com

i guess i;m a little old fashion BUT WHAT IS SECOND AND THIRD BASE ! you either have sex or you don't , so STOP! for one your 16 , the other is you think you got something ! did you get it from him !? does he have dirty hands !? he been touching some one else !?sounds to me like you have be getting off with his hands , you know your own normal body discharge when you are sexually satisfied !?take a bath keep clean underwear on stop playing around ,like obstain , and see if this clears up on its own!.and if not then use a yeast infection kit over the counter ,if you don't have yeast it won't hurt anything and if you do it will clear it up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i never knew what one was actually, until i went in for a pap smear to get new birth control, nd my docotr told me i had one!.
if the discharge smells like fish/ strong pee, you probably have one!. if you do, dont panic, it's normal for women to get them, no biggie!.
but if u cant go to the doctor, just go to ur local cvs or walgreens and get over the counter stuff!.
if ur pretty positive u have one (discharge and smell and occasionally burning) then buy a monistat pack and use that!. once your done with the treat meant, buy something called Yeast gaurd advanced!. it relieves and prevents yeast infections!.
only reason im telling you to get both, is cause i used monistat and it didnt cure it completely!.
and for the boyfriend thing, if u guys are having unprotected sex (which u said ur not), he could catch it!.
but as for 2nd and 3rd base, nothing should really be going up there until ur sure its healed!. so wait a few days, make sure the discharge and/ or ordor is gone!.
sorry its so much to read haha, but i know it can be a very uncomfortable and somewhat embarrasing time, especially with a boyfriend =/!.

Dont be afraid!. Yeast infectins are more common than you think!. It doesn't make you nasty or anything!. When a woman has alot of discharge bacteria grows and that causes yeast infections!. Just to the store and get some 3 monistat or store brand yeast infectin treatment and go from there!. Just make sre uyou sue it at night so the cream can stay inside your body and be sure to wear a liner of of sort/ Unless you get teh kid that stay in place for both day and night!. It does take a day or so to work though!. You will be fine!. But you should always go to the doctor to make sure!.
