Can't go on the pill, should i be scared to have sex?!

Question: Can't go on the pill, should i be scared to have sex!?
When my mother was 16 she went on the pill and had a horrible reaction to it!. She had blood clots and it got pretty serious!. I want to start having sex with my boyfriend, but I'm scared to do it without being on some form of birth control!. Is there maybe any other forms of birthcontrol that won't react with me like they did with my mom!? What are my options!?

I'm only 16!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should talk with your doctor!. Today there are lots of pills that have lower doses of hormones that have fewer side-effects, and you might not have the same reaction!. Do you smoke!? Your risks are a lot lower with the pill if you don't!.

There are, of course, condoms, and you can get spermicide foams and gels that you can use WITH condoms to make them more effective!. (Make sure to read the label to make sure the spermicide is meant to be used with condoms)!.

There are lots of options, and a doctor should be able to tell you what is available to someone in your area and of your age!. But if you decide to have sex, you should DEFINITELY make sure be safe, in some form or another!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just because she had problems with the pill doesn't mean you will!. There are various forms of birth control, nothing is 100% and really you shouldn't be having sex!. Trust me, I did it when I was 16 and regret it now and I'm only 23!. I do still love the guy but I was stupid and should have waited but I was smart and very cautious about it and being protected!.

You really should stop and think if you are ready to be pregnant and more than likely be doing it all on your own because most teenage boys aren't in love with their gf's like girls are!.

You WILL regret it!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Umm yeah you should be scared! First of all your only 16! Keep it in your pants, second of all even if he uses a condom you can still get pregnant!. Its best for both of you to wait!. IF you believe in your mind body and soul that you really truley love him, i still wouldnt do it!. There are so many risks that you are taking! Just wait for now till your older!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Birth control pills have changed alot in the last 20 years!. They are not nearly as strong doses as were once given!. Also just because your mom has clotting problems doesn't mean you do!. If you want to get on the pill talk to your doctor about it and see what he/she says!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ok, most girls loose their virginity at about 16!. just use condoms if you can't get on the pill!. here's an idea for you!. after you're done run water from the sink into the used condom, if it comes out anywhere go to the doctor and get checked because that means there's a leak!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

im your age and a mother had a baby boy last year and you should trust condoms go on the patch then because the pill if it runs in your family the blood clots and stuff they wont prescribe it to youuWww@Answer-Health@Com

you wanna have sex when your 16!!?! !.!.!.!.well i guess there always condoms or such
!.!.!.!.btw you need to go to churchWww@Answer-Health@Com

the patch can cause excessive clotting!. Your mom's problems may not have transferred over to you!.!.tell your mom you want to be prepared if something happens and can she take you to a docotr!. Both of you can talk to the doctor about what is a good option and she can tell him what problems she had and he can tell you what to wacth out for!.
Im not going to tell you who to have sex with and who not to have sex with, but a good thing to think about at your age is "IF we get pregnant, will he be there for me, for the baby, and can we handlen it" If you question any of that, then he is not the person to be having sex with because anything can happen and you could get stuck with a baby!. You need to talk to him about it!.!.!.ask him what he thinks he would want to do if you ever got pregnant!. If you're old enough to have sex with him, you should be old enough to discuss the consequences!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
