Question: My period is heavier than normal!. does this merit a doctor visit!?
Not only is it heavier, but I'm also feeling very tired and dizzy!. I am not pregnant and I take a vitamin!. This is only the third day of my period, but by now it usually would not be near this heavy!. Also, my cramps are significantly worse than normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The doctor really isn't going to do much for you!. But if you experience super heavy bleeding that continues for days, then yeah, see a doctor!.

I used to bleed super heavy before I got on bc!. I mean, a super plus tampon would be full after an hour and a half to two hours!. I had to set my alarm every 2 hours after going to bed to just get up and change my tampon!.

And all of it was apparently normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes make an appt!. The loss of to much blood can cause dizziness!. My friend had to have a transfusion from loosing to much blood during her period!. I would go to the emerg!. room tonight! In the mean time do not take any blood thiners such as asprin!. God Bless!Www@Answer-Health@Com
