Back pain...and on vacation in Eurpoe! Help please!?!

Question: Back pain!.!.!.and on vacation in Eurpoe! Help please!!?
Please help!. I'm on vacation and supposed to be having fun!. Here's the problem: I have mild to moderate sharp "stabbing" or "shooting" pains in my lower back!. It's only on the right side, right above my hip and below my ribs!. It doesn't hurt all the time, but it kept me up last night!. I also felt very, very tired the last couple of days!. I dont feel good at all!. it sucks!.

What could it be!? Should I wait it out or fly home to see my doc!? I'm not even in the US!.!.!.what should I do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
kidney stones!? kidney infection!? from the sounds of it you've already waited a few days so get thyself to a lovely English clinic!. :-)

if you're in london, then go to a walk-in clinic or A&E (ER in american), that you have a doctor in the US means you probably have medical insurance so you don't have to worry about major fees!? (woop for free-at-point-of-access healthcare!)

Btw if you go to A&E be prepared to wait HOURS (probably about 4hrs) so take a good book!. :-|

Oh and there's also NHS Direct - phone number 0845 4647!.

yell!.co!.uk will be able to tell you the location of the nearest medical facilities!.

hope you get better soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
