It is possible to have pain from either an ovarian cyst and from endometriosis!.
Depo-Provera can be a relief from endometriosis pain, but no for all women and not forever!. Same goes for Depo-Lupron!.
Depo-Provera helped me for a few years and then the pain started again!. I eventually had several surgeries in addition to several injections of Depo-Lupron!.

I have pcos, (polycystic ovarian syndrome) and this resulted years after DX in endometriosis!. It is very painful!. They have wanted to do a hysterectomy for years and I have refused it due to the fact that I want kids, I am 33 so more than likely it will not happen, I planned to have the surgery next year if there are no new medications to help me conceive by then!. Yes, you do still have the pain on the depo I have heard and no endometriosis does not stop while a cyst i present, my ovaries are covered with cysts at all times and the endometriosis is also present!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
