Question: Changing my contraceptive pill from to Yasmin!?
Hi, Im 22 and have been on Dianette since i was 16!. Recently ive found out thats too long to be on that pill, because of the high dosages it contains and health risks!. So i went to my Doc and he agreed and changed me over to Yasmin, which apparently is a 'wonder' pill, claiming to be as natural as can be, helping your skin, mood swings and even making some people loose weight!
So heres my problem!.!.!.!.i had about 10 pills of my Dianette pack left, but because I'm so impatient, i just went on ahead and started my new pack of Yasmin!.!.!.so its now my 2nd day taking the pill and this black/brownish blood glube(sorry to be graffic) has come out of me!.!.!.!.is this normal!?!?!? Have i messed up my contraception cover or i'm i fine and is this just my body adjusting!?!?!?!?I'm in a longt-term relationship and we also have regular sex!.!.!.so i really have worried myself!.!.!.

I think the discharge you had is just a coincidence with the timing of starting a new pill, could you have left a tampon in band this was it just falling out!? However in saying that if it happens again you should really consult a doctor!.
!. 6 years is a long time to be on Dianette, especially if you were started on it for acne!. Yasmin I am afraid is no wonder pill as it also is a combined hormonal contraceptive of standard strength, and carries the same risks as all pills in this category!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i didn't like yasmin, was giving me loads of headaches!. you only suppose to take dianette for a year!. yeah thats fine no need to worry, your cover will start striaght away so dont worry your socks off xWww@Answer-Health@Com
