Question: Morning After Pill !?!?!?!?!?
Me and my Gf had a feeling she was pregnant but after taking 4 "negative" tests we called it a day, the next time we had unprotected sex she took the morning after pill 2 days after, she is now 4 days late from her period and got sore breasts, and she says food doesnt taste the same and makes her feel sick !.!.!. so we was wondering can the ecp "mess" with her cycle and give her these symptons !? or is there a chance shes pregnant, she took a test just and it came back negative :S please help usWww@Answer-Health@Com

A lot of people seem to take the morning after pill without reading the literature in the package!. This question comes up over and over and over!. Reading the information would have made the question unnecessary!.
Early periods, delayed periods, and spotting are definitely side effects of the morning after pill!. From the sheer number of similar questions, I would guess that delayed periods are THE most common complaint!.
But since, the morning after pill is less than 90% effective, pregnancy is always a possibility!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is a chance she could be pregnant as the morning after pill is most effective if taken up to 12 hours after unprotected sex!.
After the 12 hours its effectiveness decreases!.
The test would only be effective if you took it long enough after she took the morning after pill as symptoms in the body only start to show about 2-3 weeks after becoming pregnant!.
Also the morning after pill can mess up your system, so her late period might be because of the ingredients in the pill reacting with her body!
I would say she should wait another week and either go to her doctor and and ask for a blood test, or get an early results test from the pharmacy as it tests for the earliest signs of pregnancy!.
And if she started taking the pill or you guys started using condoms you could avoid all of the stress from this!.
