Question: Ive had my period for 19 days straight and im 16 years old!.!.!?
So ive never had sex so it cant be a dead baby coming out!. Im seeing a doctor soon!. but it was just spotting from like day 6-16 but then on day 17 and 18 it was heavy and day 19 is today!. i dont want to go on birth control because you get fat!. and was doing research and i could be anemic!? does anyone know anything that could help me out!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
First and foremost, birth control does not make you fat!. That is an old school myth!. It may however make your body retain water, a side effect that you would not see on your 16-yr old body!. Birth control would assist you in regulating your period, which can't be a bad thing!.

I would say seeing a doctor is your best bet!. Your doctor will be able to tell you what is happening to your body and what can be done to control your periods!.
